How I lost 5kg in 10 days

Hey guys,

First off, losing weight is soooo hard, I know because I've been trying to for years. Whats even harder is giving up food that you love (for me it's chocolate). But soon is going to be my Highschool Ball and I NEED to lose weight and fast. Thank god I've come across the 17 day diet.
The 17 Day diet is a ray of hope for those who want to lose weight fast which is designed by Dr Mike Moreno. How it works: You go on a diet which has 3 cycles: Accelerate, Activate, Achieve and Arrive where each cycle lasts for 17 days. For each cycle you have a list of foods you are only allowed to eat. (Right now I'm on my first cycle: Accelerate).
So far so great and in all honesty I recommend everyone to buy the book and to go on this diet; its so easy and you see results within a week. I've only been on it for 10 days and lost 5kgs so far! :D

*Tip: Excercisng 30mins or so a day will help you lose weight much faster. So no excuses.

Weight loss tips

Firstly to get yourself motivated to lose weight, you need to write down why. Have these reasons on sticky notes around the house (especially the fridge), on your phone, laptop, memos etc, just every where really beacuse you need the constant reminders to keep you on track.
So I've done my research from books to Yahoo Answers and I've compiled easy tips with the intentions for only myself at first but why only keep them to myself while there are millions out there that want to lose weight as well?
Losing weight is not easy but honestly, the only hard part is commitment; the rest is easy from there.
Yes this blog is about beauty, and YES you are beautiful no matter what shape or size. But wanting to feel healthy and fit makes you even more beautiful because you will be feeding your beauty the good things to make you feel amazing and you will be excercisng to release endorphins and endorphins make you happy. Now to me that is the best part of losing weight: to become a better you. Overall what I'm trying to say is, will it hurt to become even more beautiful?

Tips for Your Weight Loss Journey

*Read this EVERY MORNING to keep motivated.
*Visualise yourself FIT and HEALTHY.
*YOU DON’T NEED TO GET ANY FATTER, YOU NEED TO GET HEALTHIER.
*CRAVING? Drink water and wait for 10mins. IT WILL GO AWAY!
*DRINK WATER. Maybe you’re not hungry, maybe you’re thirsty. Drink 2 cups before each meal.
*Remember, at least 8 cups a day.
*EXERCISE YOUR BUTT OFF EVERYDAY, NO EXCUSES.
Run in the morning, X trainer in the afternoon, weight training etc. DON’T BE LAZY, JUST EXERCISE!
*NO MORE WHITE RICE OR BREAD.
*Rather eat brown rice or oats.
*JUST LAY OFF THE CARBS. They make you tired and fat; you don’t want that.
*NO MORE SUGAR. You’re sweet enough already.
*NO MORE FRIED FOODS. You can live without it and you’re better off without it.
*NO MORE FAST FOODS OR JUNK FOOD. Doesn’t taste nice and bad for you.
*Use a smaller plate. JUST EAT LESS, NOT MORE!
*Eat until you’re satisfied NOT until you feel full. EAT SLOWLY, THERE IS NO NEED TO RUSH.
*BE HONEST and write in your food diary.
*SLEEP WELL.

RMEMBER THIS IS FOR YOU AND NO ONE ELSE. YOU CAN DO IT!

Hello June.

June has arrived and I simply cannot believe it. It's already half a year and I subconsciously still write 2013 on my dates. This makes me realise that I NEED to get a move on for my New Year's Resolutions. What are they you ask? Well for starters, I want to lose weight- not to be skinny, but to be fit and healthy so that I can feel better about myself, physically and mentally. (Tips on weight loss coming soon) Secondly, to finish reading the Quran (with translation)- personally I believe that the Quran is the most beautiful thing I have ever read; indeed the words in the Quran are nothing but the truth, as they are undoubtedly the words of God. InshaAllah I will read the Quran more often as it will help save me from the hell fire. Thirdly, STUDY, STUDY, STUDY. Although it is my second to last year of high school, this year is extremely important for me to prepare for the profession I want to take, so I really need to achieve my best but Alhamdulilah so far so great.
